The First of Many...

Tonight was our first ER visit due to an injury...we lasted 6 years!  (At least for the boys, their father is an ENTIRELY different story...)  Tonight, Turk and Bear were racing to get to plug in the Christmas tree lights.  Well, they got there roughly at the same time...except Bear tripped and hit his head on the fireplace stonework.

So, we ended up in the ER.  Thankfully, the boys had just had their Christmas-time haircuts...

My strong boy had a staple put into his head...twice!  (The first staple didn't go in correctly.)  I am sure that this will not be the last injury visit to the ER, but it had to start somewhere.  I am thankful that my Bear was the first one...his attitude and personality made tonight MUCH easier!
