Posterity...

Such preciousness!

This weekend, we had a visit from Grammy and PaPaT and Aunt Christin.  The boys love visits from Grammy and PaPaT - especially when they bring "fig bars" and sugar wafers (which, by the way, the boys do not eat unless they are with Grammy and PaPaT).  Lightning was enjoying the time with extra "targets" to flirt with.

One of his new "targets" was my sister Christin, who is blind.  It was hilarious watching Lightning smiling at Christin, then he started batting his eyelashes (a surefire winner).  But she just wouldn't react the way every other person on the face of the planet does...with a smile, and an "Awwww, how cute!"  Lightning then seemed to look at me and, with his eyes, say "Why isn't this working?!"  He tried it one other time, just as unsuccessful as the first time.

Christin adores Lightning (and his brothers)...she loves being an aunt.  I think Lightning will just have to wait until he can talk before he can successfully interact with Aunt Christin.
